Rapport bug with gifts
Happened to me twice and now I can't interact to increase rapport with 2 NPCs. Getting "You must complete the previous level of the Rapport Quest... Please complete the Rapport Quest first."

1. Cals. Finished his "Confidence Man" rapport quest. Gave a 10k gift and skipped some ranks (I think, not 100% sure). Now I can't play instruments or show emotes even after a couple of daily resets.

2. Thirain. I was at Amicable 1. Didn't have any rapport active quests, finished "Thirain's Conundrum" earlier. Made sure ranks would not be skipped. Gave a 10k gift and became Amicable 2. Can't click songs or emotes that I could click before gifting.

Maybe the game thinks I must do the rapport quests that require 140 points in multiple virtues? But I could do songs and emotes just fine before the gifts, so it doesn't make sense. The whole point of giving the gifts was trying to rank up their rapport faster to get trusted virtue boosts from these guys.

It is not a bug. Some of the npcs require you to complete the quests to move forward with rapport. Just have to start grinding out the side quests and doing the adventure tome stuff to get the virtue points. Speaking from experience as I'm stuck with the same problem currently.

I get this msg as well I'm stuck on Thirain Amicable 2.. I can't pick up Thirain's Dream cause that msg just keeps popping up... You said i just need to do side quests? I have done every single quest from Rethramis to East Luterra ... Yet I am still stuck on it.. I just dont get it.. where my alt on another server was able to do it and same thing I have done all the quests there as well.. I just don't know what the difference is that I can not pick up this quest.. sigh..
