Well this is kinda just like how most MMO's tend to be end-game. It's just a big repetitious grind. Literally the only thing not repetitious about a MMO is going through the main story for the first time. lol. Not sure what you expected from end-game content, but this is pretty much the status quo for all MMO's at end-game. This is one of the reasons I'm not that big of a fan of MMO's, or playing them much longer after I complete the MSQ, until they add more MSQ to play.
This is not how most MMO's are end-game. I really doubt that you understand how it is. Where are you right now? Are you at T3?
This game is designed to make it so frustrating to even succeed at honing your gear after spending COUNTLESS hours grinding it that you end up spending money to progress instead.
Having to do dailies weeklys daily dungeons weekly dungeons daily raids hourly islands world bosses, story quests etc etc then have to do it on alts aswell only for gear to still fail is obscene. People say it's even worse later at end of tier 2 and in tier 3.
It's a shame the dungeons and raid bosses are fun, everything else is tedious work that feels like a job to let you progress in the two things that are any fun.
The more people stop playing this type of design, maybe the less the gaming industry will develop it...
It's good that you learned this about Lost Ark. It's a skinner box game.
And No, this is NOT how every MMORPG is designed. People who say that are very delusional.
The difference between a normal MMORPG and Lost Ark design is like the difference between hanging out with your friends playing poker, and playing a slot machine game with a poker theme. The purpose of this game is to trick you to keep giving it coins.
