How can I farm pirate coins efficiently ?

Why is that ? Ye I've seen chests that gives some coins that i can trade in for pirate ones... why I shouldn't do this ?

The reputation rewards for unas dailies have a lot of pirate coins in there. I wouldn't really call it a farm because it's a finite amount but you can still get a lot of them from there. The co op sailing events also give some as well.

after some time you dont realy need pirate coin anymore but the coins from the chests

sun coins give the best conversion rate at like 1 for 20.

I think it is islands, there are quite a lot of islands that give pirate coins or chests of coins.

the first 2 easy ones are probably blackfang's den and freedom isle since you don't really have to do much but talk to a bunch of ppl and you get about 20k from doing those 2. I did these and then went to peyto and bought the song.
