if there weren't time sinks there would be no point to the game. hone gear = time sink, travel = time sink, questing = time sink.

It is literally the point of the game to waste your time.

it is a silver sink unless you get aura . it is there to make your silver lighter .

I don't see a very compelling reason that you can't teleport from continent to continent. "It wastes time" is anything, but compelling.

I don't see anything aswell. They've just put this teleportation as a Pay2Win part like Nexon is doing this with their Maple Story games. So we try to get these Bifrost keys or spend cash to get the Aura to have 3 Bifrost teleportations.

I mean traveling is pretty light in this game... Mostly tripods with the ocassional ferry trip that last less than a couple of minutes to change continents. It's not worse than wow or ff xiv, it's not better also...

Maybe the devs wanted us to see the island content? As we can see most people dont even know what lullaby island etc is. I mean a lot of people ignore the ship stuff entirely.

Met someone in yorn who didnt even know what islands are. Since he only used the fast travel ship.

I don't know... mostly because there aren't many mmos with fast travel systems that are well know. Wow doesn't have it, ff xiv eighter, ESO does not have it, new world is a nightmare... the only mmo that actually come to my mind is gw2, but I'm not sure about that game.
