Flowers. I see logs and ores for ~5-10 g per stack while flowers are at ~25g per stack. Neither is a huge income, but they are better. Selling the adventurer tome drops is generally giving more gold than gathering. Selling Etchings can also yield quite some gold. As with the upgrade stones from guardian raids.

That's not how it works tho, the best time to make money is at the beginning of new content (be an expansion or a new game)
