I have to make the main story on every alt character?!!

I was half way through the main quest in rohendel with my Main. Now that i got my alt to Ronhendel i have every single mission from the start (of the main quest). Is this supposed to be like this? it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.

They gave everyone 2 free lvl 50 boosts for alts.
And you can pay gold for auto leveling in the stronghold.

Paying 1000g for clearing Rohendel main story or speedrun it ( takes you around 2h if u are slow ). Its up to you. Dont forget there's Yorn, Feiton and Punika aswell. And thats it for every single alt

600 gold is easy to farm and you skip all the 10-50 content. Just not Vern, Rhon, Yorn ETC unless you keep paying gold to skip each zone.

The powerpass / knowledge transfer clears Shushire story. There are other knowledge transfers for T2 / T3 content once you clear it with your main, but costs more gold.

But because of the mechanic of Lost Ark, i wouldnt compare to others. In most cases alts are used here to enhence the main, so having to go all over the quest line seems stupid. Also, the story quest line has LOTS of quests compared to many other games. Talking simulator.

Most do, but some games are smarter and link / quest story progression to the account. You can rerun them if you want / for the lulz, but alts don't have all their quests open by default. It's a nice system, wish it was more widespread.

So if i understood correctly, without paying gold, you have to go all over the main story line with your alts, but all side quests are locked if you have completed them with your main previously.

You gotta pay a lot of gold if you want to skip the quests on alts. It costs many thousands of gold in total for each alt. All you'll be doing on the alts is chores anyway so why bother.
