People run scripts on multiple iterations of the game being open, windowed, on the same computer.
The scripts run through the leveling process then offload all of the gold it gives you to sell for real money.
There are probably tens of thousands of them in the game across NA/EU.
Same thing with New World.
EasyAntiCheat is pretty effective against stopping more than one instance of the game. Virtual Machines make it easy though.
They will probably end up banned after a while
More will pop up anyway
Still it can be a good thing to let them in game for a while to track and flag any account interacting / exchanging anything with them...then ban the whole lotl
Wont hurt the bots too much, more will be made...but the buyers will be really annoyed
It's definitely multiboxing as I saw some too

Gold sellers make guilds all the time, by the way. I have no idea what kind of scripts they run and how the naming procedures are done in them.
He's going to drop this game for Elden Ring and stop streaming when he's done with Elden Ring again, he's already said so, Lost Ark will be safe soon.
a manual sweep of the servers each day would knock down so many bots
