Game no longer launches after update (WEBROOT WAS THE CAUSE)

Worked fine before noon, after update tonight, game no longer gets past EAC, failed to load game (2) error. I have tried repairing EAC, verify and uninstall/reinstall. Nothing works now. Anyone else have this issue?
UPDATE: Webroot was my issue i uninstalled and it worked, using Win Def for now

Hey guys. You do not have to uninstall/disable WR (Webroot) for this to work. Just open Secure Anywhere and go to PC Security settings cog. In the Block/Allow files tab, click on Add File on the bottom. Navigate to where your game is saved e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Lost Ark\Binaries\Win64

Once in that path, add the file Launch_Game (this is Easy Anti Cheat). Then click on Add File again from WR and add LOSTARK from the same file path. This will whitelist EAC and the game. Mine launched after this.

I'm sure you could do this for other anti-virus programs as well!

I had the same issue. I was able to fix by allowing LostArk through my webroot antivirus software.

For me is this error an the AV: "LOSTARK Client does not have a valid digital signature" and then 10010 error. "Server authentication failed."

Same issue. Worked fine. I got booted from the game and was told i had some small 53MB or so update. Soon as that happened i get the same failed message after the Anti Cheat box. Clearly the update broke something.

I have tried everything to fix this after the update. Repaired EAC, uninstalled and re-installed EAC. Uninstalled game and re-installed. Updated Windows. Updated GFX card (none needed). Nothing works. Fix your game, devs.

If you use WEBROOT, go to PC security and add both the EAC and Lost ARK applications to the block/allow list. Make sure the option for allow is selected and it will run.
