Shadowhunter feels underpowered

I have 2 chars, a shadowhunter and paladin, in chaos dungeons and raids alike i do MVP damage as Paladin (mix of holy and punish skills), yet i never perform MVP in shadowhunter.

Issues being: Damage low due to lack of meaningful lv1-3 skill point allocations, AOE's are extremely poor, etc.

I think you're supposed to build a heavy demonize build with her with everything focusing demonize and putting points into specialization to do obscene damage (which i believe is the way to go) but seems inconsistent.

What do you guys run and am i really missing out on something that a support class outperforms everyone?

chaos dung, paladin can bring a ton of aoe, and mvp means literally nothing for dmg there, majority of ppl just solo chaos.

raids? are you talking guardian raids? if you are mvp it isnt just baout dmg btw, and if you were somehow top dmg it just means you are grossly overgeared for it or with very new and poor players.

Paladin dmg is trash in pve, i say this as a paladin

Cope with what? I'm not complaining that paladin isn't a dps, its just a simple fact unless its extreme late game, perfectly min maxed gear, and literally top 1% of players in unlocks in korea, then yes.. paladin can dps,grats.

Beyond that, you are just bad at the other class, and playing with other new players that arent too great yet... because paladin dmg is a joke.

Id say this is wrong lol but if they eat enough dmg to the face the entire time they can push you into MvP for all the saves lol, which means they still did something wrong
