But they had to censor because in the west there will be some vocal group of perpetually offended minorities to reee at the stuff if it went live as is - so AGS just doesn't want to deal with all the headache and bad press.
To put it otherwise - it's modern societies to blame for such outcome. And since west is all about democracy - ultimately, it's all of us individually to blame for this (myself included)
They created a much bigger headache though.
Get them to address the changes they lied about. Explain why they changed them, or (best case but unlikely give us a Korean patch to revert them)
Thats not very constructive friend.
I see your point - I presume you mean that now folks complain about censorship - but that's not something that will give them negative optics. Besides, AGS is a western company and backlash for them would be felt worse than for Korean ones. That's why I think companies like PA care much less about censoring outfits in their games (talk BDO and their costumes)
Until they're all permanently banned. Most anime forums have to do this due to cringeworthy neckbeards wanting pixel boobs everywhere. Oh and let's not forget they HAVE to be Asian for some reason.
The mentality is interesting and well as pitiable.
To OP: this is one prime example of what AGS don't want to deal with and why they chose to censor.
All we can do as customers is voice our complaints until they are acknowledged.
There are some strange people who have an interest in shutting down this discussion, and there are a few reasons why I won't get into here.
They chose to make more people upset than please though. It's a simple numbers game.
Something doesn't have to be the end of the world to be worth discussing. That's a ludicrous premise.
Are we just never supposed to complain about anything unless it's a life or death scenario? lol
I'm not in any way trying to shut you down. I'm trying to understand the motivation. What makes you think they deserve to be addressed or even acknowledged?
You don't know that and you're assuming. Considering it's peaking 1m day that most don't care about these extremely minor changes.
Don't act like you speak for people because you only speak for yourself.
They're legitimate. And we were lied to, so I'm curious for them to explain themselves and exude a molecule of accountability. Which granted, I know is rare for western devs, arrogant elitists that they are, but there is a first time for everything.
