b button issue

hi, a lot of time for no reason the b button dosent work for a couple of minute sometimes more sometimes less... hardware is not the issue, it happen to my brother as well. We both have brand new wolverine ultimate v2 and b button is always working to skip a scene, or work on any other game or software i use.

If anyone could provide a fix this would be awesome as it getting annoying to a vital key button for fighting and other

It has to be related to that specific controller if you both have the issue. I have a Fusion Pro 2 controller and I have no issues.

I think that some quests are just meant those skill not to work or it is a bug, see if the skills for that button works on the keyboard when it's not working, but if it doesn't work at all random times even when in town, there is something wrong.

For me it stops working only during certain main quests and such while fighting inside some areas, but i'm not entirely sure if it's just because of those certain skills i am using and they are locked so i shouldn't be able to instakill everything there.

I am using an xbox one v2 camo edition controller btw.

I don't think it's related, but when I used the -nomovies command line on launch to skip the intro, apart from making the main menu a greenscreen, it made the ESC button stop functioning altogether for some misterious reason.
Not only it wouldn't skip movies but it woulnd't close windows or open the menu either, totally dead.

Simply removing the command line "fixed" it.

Well i'm not even using those commands, so it's not related to that for sure.

i would very much doubt the controller is the issue.. i mean it work on every game.

Yes it stop at random and for my 3 gun girl, i can only swap them in 1 direction, which was the first i knew something was up.

And then it would be working for an hour without issue, and then for 10 minute dont work and then restart working... if the controller was the issue the problem would be more direct and woulnd't also very likely nit show input on virtual keyboard mapper

and last, this is like the most (almost) recommanded controller from gamerz and most used. and used in tournament..

I doubt they would make a game incompatible with this hardware. it has to be triggered by something...seem to be after i discuss with npc, something after i skip a scene (because yess even if the b button wasnt working 1 second before during the fight, it now work 1 shot to skip the scene) and then dosentwork again. i have confirmed this by doing (staged bosses). Its always the same.

more insightfull answer needed. i couldnt be the only one with my bro.a

restarting the game always make my controller fine, up until that weird thing happen again

This happens to me a lot, it's with you skip using the controller your b button will it stuck in what I call "Skip mode" and you can't use it until another skip. hopefully they will fix it soon.

so far i did this and its the first time i play for 3-4 hour without b stopping. go to your game list in steam, right click on lost ark, properties, controller, and switch default parameter to, activate steam input. restart. so far so good for me. gonna update

bug still occured this morning, defenetly after i have skipped a scene. Pretty sure the issue turn around that *DEVs are alive here or not ?

Same issue and it's not your specific controller because I use a generic xbox controller and have the same issue. The keyboard still works though so I just use my controller to move and hit the key binds until the button starts working again.

seem to be also occurring when opening skill menu.

this morning i cant use my controller at all tho ? only lost ark. like if there wasnt controller connected at all...weird
