No mmo boots you out of the game when you afk, every mmo boots you either to the main screen or the server list.
well if you need to step away, why leave the game up anyways. i see no problem with it kicking you off the game. the afk timer is like an hour anyways. if you are gone more than an hour just close the game out period. you are the reason for most peoples queue times, grow up kid
otherwise yea its pretty sussy that it closes the whole game.
You know, you do have to consider the amount of time it takes to boot up depending on the persons specs. You got MMO's like SoulWorker that takes a good 10 minutes just to get past the splash screen like Ark shows after booting EAC. It's annoying and doesn't make sense to terminate an application just because you go afk? Like, if it wants to open up a queue for another player, again, it doesn't have to close your game on its own to open a queue. That's quite sus.
1 AFK on server select screen = ! player with 10027 error
You are right.
It shouldn't kick you out of the game but give you a BSOD which says ♥♥♥♥ YOU FOR BEING AFK AND RUINING EVERYONES TIME
Which you can not close yourself
If the player is on server select screen, it doesn't take server resource for letting someone else take that spot lmao. This is my whole point. Doing a test to see if it still closes the game while sitting at server select.
Than why is there a "get out of game because the servers are too full, when you get kicked from the screen before even loading into the server select?
Macro while the PC is FOCUSED onto the game, sure. But when you afk after like, clicking outside of the game, turn on music and do chores with bluetooth headphones, that don't work :P or hell, if you're going back and forth between LA and another game that uses less RAM and CPU. Which I tend to do with my MMO's or any other game I think I can double task with.
Like mentioned above usually every other MMO boots you into character select or server select. And server select should be fine cause that takes literally no ressource/place on the server away.
Didn't even know that the game just closes itself on afk lul
