How long did it take you to complete the main story?

Guess it depends on your speed. I've heard ~10 hours. I'm currently around 35+ hours at level 45 going through and reading/watching everything and exploring.

damn wtf im at 17 hours skip all dialogue, all side quests and doesnt feel close, im lvl 36

i took 25 hours with all sidequests and random stuff, so i took me as a maximum ;)

ah I see in the adventurers tome I only have one enemy left, and one area left, so guess im atleast somewhat close

adv tome you can ignore, many stuff is later questlines after 50 anyway and the rewards are not worth the time.
this is for later if your really bored.

So I reached 50 after about 40 hours of gameplay and 10 hours of queue time and have found 2/7 arks.

Am I still far away from being able to get a powerpass at this point?
I assume I need all 7 arks? :O

My motivation is the same as OP.

I'm like 20+ hours in and doing every single quest. I admit, there's more quests than I expected. I'm almost level 40 and I have no idea when I'll be done.

i see a lot of people in here saying 10-25 hours and i know thats not right because i am skipping everything but story and im 30+ hours in and still only have 3 arks. so they are way off on those numbers.

@Fluffy Dragoness, you get the Powerpass once you either get to, or complete the east Vern quest chain. That will be the 5th ark. Only do orange quests, than only blue quests, and you will be 50 or hit 50 at East Vern. I did it in about 12 hours, but you can complete it all in as little as 9-10 if you are very efficient.

4/7 arks in at 70 hr, still havnt beat story

Some people speed run through everything and at times you have to do sidequests to unlock some of the dungeons to actually progress to the main story.

So to some who take the time and fight mobs as well as performing sidequests. I am at 40+ hours with only 2 of 7 arks.

But some of that time was wasted because I was reading up on builds and concepts for my character as well as redoing the dungeon on hard 2 - 3 times for better armor and weapon drops. To make the progression less taxing on my end.

I just need that powrpass really, so if thats 100 hours then im just gonna play the other character I wanna level up first
