♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ warfame does not involve money. You either pay or farm and sell the parts inorder to get plat point to unlock.
POE, has the same gimmick of paying for conveniences. Without paying for a currency tab dont even play the game, it's not worth the efforts to organise every single currency items each map run.
Everything that can be purchase in Lost ark you can do so with gold. An ingame currency that anyone can take advantage of, provided that your IQ has enough range to play the ingame market and understand what to spend your wealth on.
Like in real life, anything with a market and an economy, unlucky and dumb people tend to end up last.
Just because you can't think of none that doesn't mean that such game doesn't exist. The fact that games like Lost Ark that are so called "f2P" also doesn't mean that makes those games great in the long term, nothing in life is given or nothing is free, especially in games...people never seem to learn.
Some people like LA's endgame with honing and side content collection, some like GW2's achievement hunting, some (inexplicably to me) like Runescape, some like FF, some (still) like WoW. It's really a losing battle of opinions where nobody really wins, and nobody has to.
People need to take it easy and not be so serious about it.
Also since we are talking free 2 play, over 1.5 million people bought an package of 20€ or 50€ so saying this game is free 2 play is kinda cringe even if it is true by semantics.
But how many really play this game "really" for free?
You either bought a package or you waste a ♥♥♥♥ ton of money on the p2w shop.
So saying you want names of other similar games is kinda weird.
So BDO is kinda free too. Just 9,9$ or sometimes its on discount for 2$.
in WoW if you farm enough gold you can buy a WoW Token and play for free too.
SWTOR has a free2play model as well and is pretty cool game and no p2w mechanics.
Yea but really LA has now separated itself as the best MMO to come out since classic WoW, thats the experience I'm having. It's got everything and only more to come which is proven successful and popular in 2 other regions. Plus a dev team that is known to take a hands-on approach and love the game they put out - we couldn't ask for more.
There never was a best MMORPG, the media and how much hype the press and the companies places in their games makes for much of that best whatever game or genre bs, what matters is our own personal taste...PERSONAL TASTE which is an expression that we are quickly forgetting these days.
I was hyped for Lost Ark, i never heard about it before and once i come across it on steam before the closed beta i said to my self that this game is IT for me, i bought the Platinum Pack and all but when a "f2P" game can push you to the limit of you having to throw your credit card to get to some of the latest content i was quickly thrown off by it, i get it it's the mindset, philosophy and design of the devs that created the game and people or many support that but i don't so i and as we all can i chose to go away.
Over the years i tried MMORPG games like FF14, GW2, SWTOR, Warframe, Albion, Dungeons and Dragons Online, and probably others i forgot but to me nothing feels more like home like World of Warcraft, i have been playing Classic and Burning Crusade for the first time in my life, i got to see and experience why some many love Classic and honestly i have been having fun.
We should care more about what we love and enjoy and not care so much about what's trending, both in games and IRL.
what kind of agro trip are you on? the op has asked a genuine curious question and you belittle him with no provocation.
you are right, people never seem to learn, indeed. like, basic comprehension.
edit: on topic - i always go back to elder scrolls online. a game and universe i really love, and the game has come far from its bad beginnings
If what i said translates to belittle someone to you...man you better be off the internet.
You can try and find answers in https://www.playlostark.com/ . Perhaps in their forum or trough their support section.
Pre combat upgrade Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided...
...on my private server dev environment...with just me on it...so, not really an MMO but it was one...and it wasn't free either but obviously is for how I'm running it. The best MMO ever made...
