I got all the way to the end, I fight the boss guy until he is near zero health.

Then it says reflect the light on him and set him on fire. I don't see any mirror anyplace to I keep running around for 10 minutes pushing the Q key which is grayed out, finally I die and start over.

This time when I get his health down there is a mirror on the floor which I pick up.

He is still chasing me around so I keep running around trying to get in the center of the circle.

But nothing happens when I push Q because it's still grayed out.

Finally on about the third try when I pick up the mirror he isn't chasing me, and there is an indicator in the center of the room. I run and stand there and activate the mirror while facing him (he's back in his original place in the center) and I see a light shining from the mirror. I think I finally got him and the next thing I know he's chasing me around again.

And I don't have the mirror anymore.

So I die and start over again, and the same thing happens, when I'm standing in the middle of the room shining the mirror he doesn't die.

The light just goes dark and the next thing I know he's chasing me again.

Finally I control alt delete to get out and now I have to start the whole thing all over again after spending several hundred silver getting everything repaired.

How are you supposed to kill this guy?

you need to do the mirror 3 times.
Kill him -> use mirror -> kill him -> use mirror -> kill him -> use mirror -> end

Get the boss's health down to 0. Pick up the mirror. Stand in the middle of the room where the light is shining down. Hold Q and aim your mouse cursor at the boss to direct the light at him. Hold it there until he gets staggered. Repeat until he dies.

Thanks for the help, I guess I gave up one time too soon. But by that time I'd been at the battle for at least 20 minutes and I thought that something was wrong with it.

pick up the item

go to the centre of the room where the light is

press and hold Q

rinse/repeat

very easy to miss
