80% quit - Asmongold Chadmongold [King of MMOS]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4p8o0ga5v9I
why is it that so many players leave in such a short amount of time ?
80% is a lot of players, is p2w not working on the European playerbase
or do we need more cope ?

I guess people are hitting endgame and see what an insane RNG treadmill it is , who wants to spend a few hours each day for a few broken honings and weekly gated content , there is no sense of community either in this game , everyone is toxic and guilds have zero purpose outside bloodstone farm.

Long are the days where you can find a decent group in your age set , time frame that share similar interests , this community is by far the most toxic cesspool i've ever seen , starting from whales to f2p grinders.

This title needs to fail hard so devs don't make games like this ever again , aimed at wasting your IRL time and turn you into a slave.

It's a glorified mobile game and nothing else.

bro i have not played a single mmo where 90 percent of the community quit, i think lost ark is flawed dont get me wrong but you need to know most people ride the hype train and have dopamine issues they need constant simulation and it has to be easy.

thats a good point actually, the dopamine receptor signalning is a big issue among a lot of players but is it the main problem with lost ark ?

no, people are mad and majority wants a hand out straight to 1370, people think the honing sucks but the game requires alts and time to push your character to 1370, this is why people are really mad and majority from what I heard, Some people have more patience than others and want to strive to earn their way to the top and have. This is how mmos are.

has the game helped your youtube traction and/or streaming or is it stagnating like the games playerbase ?

The reason is very very simple why everyone quits - T1 and T2 honing system where you have to make every single peice to +15 to progress any further!

Thing is that basically in every other game we have played so far, the games have been teaching us 1 main rule - NEVER UPGRADE THE MIDDLE PROGRESSION GEAR, because it becomes totally useless in the next level area! So why bother upgrading our gear here in the middle of game???

I don't really care about the youtube traction, my youtube always has 8 million unique visitors regardless and i never stream as a job only for fun and as a log that I can and will do it, Iam a retired jewlery business owner and haven't spent a single dime on the honing materials at all. This is how I push and strive my way to 1370

I've failed over 230+ honing but I stuck through it and I like the game regardless of what anyone says, I can see how people can lose patience with this type of system and call it p2w or even Gambling but it really isn't, its just a grind if you are willing to push and it test your patience before you swipe. Don't swipe, know that your honing will fail, and make alts.

i was just curious if it has helped you as a content creator, you seem unusually consistent compared to most content creators
