Sailing Coins? Any Traders for these Coins to use upon?

I got a bunch of Sailing Coin Chest, and I don't know what to do with them; i.e Gienah Coins and Ancient Coin. Is there any traders that would exchange for any of these specific coins in the chest other than just Pirate Coins? If so, where are the trader located? What important items should I get with the coins before I waste it on Pirate Coins?

You need 8k Sun Coins for the Omnium Star. The trader for that is a timed merchant ship at Punika. Pretty important collectible imho.
~3k Gienah Coins for a Giant Heart at Atlas (?). Also important
Another 8k Sun coins for Berald, BiS Crew Member for Ghostship. Nice to have, but can wait

I know some tokens/souls are behind Gienah Coins. I think it was Atlas too.

The stuff you want is usually behind timed merchants. Keeping around 10k coins in chests is a pretty safe spot. It's not like you won't get any chests. 12x500 chests from the weekly event. Around 3-6 x 100 chests from adventure Islands. Maybe you even have some quests open.

Never buy pirate coins with unique coins. It's a noob trap. You get more than enough PC from islands to fund anything you'd ever need, but unique coins take forever to grind to get what they can buy.

Yes and no. I agree, that coins in chests have a higher value than Pirate Coins, but at the same time the pirate coins from quests/islands and so on are not enough with multiple alts. The weekly ship is/was to good.

You have to balance it out a bit. We have plenty of coin chest sources, especially with the event. Right now, you get like 8k-10k coins a week (adventure island, weekly event, sailing co-op).

I keep a certain amount of coin chests at hand, in case I see a timed vendor I need. Above that is converted. If I drop below that threshold, I start saving chests again.

This might change once the weekly ends, thou.
