Saw them on my currency tab and thought they were roster bound. Sneaky.
i really should have saved them for when my future main get released
its pointless to have heaps of bound stuff on one character that cant use it and have to re-farm it on another character
to those who say that this is somehow 'content', its not
It's just stress for players to have to keep everything in boxes in roster storage and only open them one at a time for fear of it getting locked on a character that no longer needs it
Pointless system of bounding
The only logic I can see is, like tankanidis said, "content" to pad out the playtime or something.
Frankly imo, they should remove the character binding on ALL honing materials and instead any "BOUND" materials are roster bound instead of character bound to still prevent these from being sold on the AH. So now instead of BOUND & TRADABLE, you have ROSTER-BOUND & TRADABLE materials. wont affect the market on ANY of them.
Plus this will let you WASTE your higher tier characters chaos runs IF YOU CHOOSE to help gear out an alt by getting more shards/materials.
