Running a guild ..

I've been a member of only one guild. Like the overall population, the membership is dying. According to the one that started it, they don't even get a list of idle players or player contributions. I have no reason not to believe them. What is the incentive to have the originator of a guild have so little control?

On a side note, how annoying is it that new guild members can not contribute at all for over 2 days? Why is this an automatic thing? What is the benefit?

You definitely see when someone last logged in and how much contribution they have.

But if he is a begginer - he might have missed the options. At the top there are more tabs than initially visible, but you need to press arrows on the right to see them. I was confused about it myself when I made a guild for alts.

yeah, I've got 17 or 18 people currently in my guild, created it after joining a guild day one and donating, doing half the guild weekly myself, and the dude kicked me. on the top RIGHT there is a >> arrow thing for the management menu, he needs to click that to see member donation history and stuff.

and as well, the ui for guild management is a mess, when I pick the weekly task it throws it in as a Una daily/weekly thing, and you have to go into the guild sub menu, then click on another sub menu to activate the task or you aren't contributing even if you do the tasks. so far I've had to complete all the guild weekly stuff myself - I assume because nobody can figure out how to contribute - or maybe just mooching for the blood store level

Leaders can see everything lmao. From when they last login to how much they contribute. I think members can see all of this too. Members just can't edit stuff like contribution target, but they should be able to see.

Edit: yup just confirmed even guild members can see all the essential stuff. Did you even try playing with the guild tabs before making this post? Also I would probably try to find a better guild if I were you. Seems like your guild leader doesnt really care about the guild at all if he cant even bother to play around with guild tabs lul.

yikes you took that the wrong way. Not sure why you got so defensive all of a sudden, but I am sorry if your guild leader is your friend or something. Just pointing out the fact that poor mangement leads to dead guild. I am just saying you should try to find a better guild, but apparently that's trolling. The way you reacted seems like you are the guild leader or something because you took it personally. Anyways my bad. Silly me your leader is excellent.
