Abyssal Dungeons Important
Whenever u press "matchmaking" for an abyssal dungeon (especially as the game progresses) PLEASE just watch a guide about the mechanics! Don't just go in without knowing. These dungeons have unique mechanics that are sometimes difficult to explain once the group is formed :shizukaSkeptic:

It's nice but shouldn't be a requirement, nor should people be scolded for going in blind. If you want people to know the mechanics, use the party finder and create a lobby called something like "know mechs", and enjoy the group.

Like that will stop players for simply saying yes. Also it is time consuming to "quiz" everyone before going in. 7x players... 3x players there goes most of your time "gaming".

I just got into a habit on checking characters and asking if they know mechanics. fast and ez vote to leave dungeon or stay.

its more time consuming to get to the 3rd boss after 15m and finding out that people don't know them. It only takes 5m to read the mechanics. I also ask every time i get in the dungeon but 1 or 2 people only type. the rest are zz.

Also about the scolding fact, its really unfun to keep a whole group prisoner for not knowing how to play the dungeon, even people streaming the game actually suggest looking into mechanics. In abyssal dungeons it should be a requirement, there are so many other things that casual players can do and thats what is awsome about lost ark. But some stuff require a bit more of your attention.

even if people put the ''know mech'' in the lobby title, people still join who don't know anything about the fight lol

Tbh i didn't even know that "party finder" existed until u mentioned it Pony. I might actually try that and see if it works. although as Grimmz said people who don't know could still join

It's fine to go in blind but not fine to go in blind, unwilling to learn and listen to advice which is all my matchmaking experience

party finder creates a lobby where the host accepts applicants
so you gona choose the highest geared players for the raid
also you can chat within the party room so you can easily set up roles and stuff..
if someone dosnt respond you can also throw him out as party host
its a very polished system
however it comes with the downside that everyone can peek on your gear so depending on other applicants and class (i play shadowhunter.. usualy prefer rando matchmaking than party finder) it can take quit some time to get accepted to a raid group

Well, it isn't a guarantee but a thing to try. After I had two awful random matchmade groups I had two good to decent ones through the party finder. So that's a thing.

Glhf!

People can go in blind, because they enjoy going in blind and figuring out the mechanics themselves. They could have zero interest in having a "clean" and fast run.
If you want a group that already knows the mechanics, you need to setup your own party finder group with a fitting title or play with friends - you are not entitled to have random players adapt to your preference.

but they are too slow to figure it out, not everyone is born smart i guess, if u are true gamer and smart u should figuring out in the game in 2-3 try
Vas Mar 23, 2022 @ 3:53am
It's not a requirement lmao, go make your own group
Invictus Mar 23, 2022 @ 5:08am
Great so lets waste everyone's time because u don't want to read for 5mins. And better yet, don't even say anything in chat. I guess not communicating isn't a "requirement" as well. Great.

More Fun,

I don't see why u need to be insulting, the post is pretty much chill and other people have also expressed a different opinion than mine in a more 'orderly' fashion. And i understand that. Im just trying to convince them otherwise.

Also about the actual age part, what does age have to do with beeing or not a casual player? Nothing.

You either troll posted or just wanted to get your daily dose of insulting others.
