WARNING TO ANYONE WANTING TO PLAY THIS CO-OP!

So A great looking game that actually plays well... BE WARNED! IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME WITH A FRIEND OR TWO!... You are constantly being thrown into quests that you need to to solo including a big story quests. Feeling ripped off because I paid money and invested in a game to play with a friend (They did the same) and you can't even co - op the main story together and have the full story experience. So as a solo game great but as a co-op experience very fractured and frustrating! Would 10/10 not want to pay out for any of the founders packs again!

No, in like all MMOs you can pick your friend and "do-over" if you want to.

Usually, when you have to do a solo quest, it's probably because it's for your class. They do this in WoW and in FF14. Go ahead and keep crying though.

Not most of the Western developed ones that I can think of in the last 20 years.

And a fair number of English localized Asian developed MMOs as well minus say... Final Fantasy 14.

I'll never understand these devs that make MMOs full of quests that you have to do by yourself. Like, why not just make a singleplayer RPG??

Soooooo, you do realize main story quest is only about 10 hours of gameplay. The real game starts once you finish that and hit level cap. All the leveling quests are very solo friendly anyways and can be completed easily with any class. Have fun.

Well, I don't have to hold anyone's hand for a -few- class -exclusive- quests/scenes. You're truly, not worth talking to.

I think that lends itself to the OP's concern.

If your friend group is co-op driven and were expecting to co-op after character creation, then from your response, Lost Ark is not the game for them until they invest 10+ hours. Or rather, Lost Ark is not for these groups of friends.

The coop kicks in more at the end of the story once you head into endgame territory. yea it sucks that story isnt supporting it much, but the game has thousands of hours of coop content later.

Nope, wow, ffxiv and ESO all have main story quests that are solo.

In ESO and WOW, you can play with other players for a few hundred hours in world quests, PvP, and dungeons before you have to do a solo story quest though. Versus say the initial investment (where FFXIV does ask for that initial investment).
