Is deadeye a bad class?

I went with this class as it looked really fun and ive been enjoying it so far. but every forum and tier list puts them far at the bottom? i seem to wipe stuff 4x as fast as my pala but they're both only 20.

should i abandon the deadeye ? or are they more viable then the lists are saying

Tier lists are bogus, the game caters to literally whatever class you have fun playing, the only Tiered classes are the support/tank classes because those are required.

Play the classes YOU want to play. Guides are helpful and I appreciate the dedicated community to a certain game, but even the creators will tell you to play the game as you want.

Look at the character's skillsets and how to implement them in group play. Try out different combos, buffs/debuffs (if they're available). Once you become more comfortable and locked in, look up a guide on the certain class(es) you enjoy playing.

This, my favourite thing about lost ark is that you're not pressured to play any meta classes or silly tier lists because everything is generally viable.

I went with deadeye and it’s good. Tried different classes in beta but deadeye is more fun for me. It’s up to you, as long as you enjoy it don’t mind the tier lists.

A few deadeyes are top ranked on loa. Small difference between it and gs. Also it'll probably have a buff at some point this year. Think they are balancing some classes this year which is needed

Honestly play what you enjoy. Someone who learns the raids and how to play the class effectively > some tier list

think ill stick with it for now i enjoy swapping guns and always having a cd to use. i just dont wanna struggle endgame because of my class choice :D

I mean gunslinger is for the most part the same class but better (at least that's what we see everywhere). I hate that there's no male/female for every class, and that the ones who do have differences so big that they aren't really meta.

Would've played gunslinger if it was the male version, but it's not worth picking the same class for the most past but worst in my opinion.

And I kinda remember from a random video that engraving or accessory for lesser played classes is cheaper in the auction house. Will have to wait and see if it’s true.

I destroyed with Striker on RU even though it's "considered lower tier". Tier lists are just opinions from people with no real credentials and they usually favour classes that are simply easier to play to get good results. If you are good with a class because the mechanics are something you enjoy, it will be a good class.

Exactly. I wanted to play a male class that is fast. Had to choose between Striker and Deadeye. Deadeye is more versatile and fun for me.

If a large portion of the community tend to agree though (even more if some influencers have a lot of hours into the game) it's usually a good indicator, if i understand correctly it's because deadeye is more focused on shotgun in late game and gunslinger is more focused on the rifle, and considering the low defenses rifle is better for this kind of class.
