Names all Taken

I understand names are hard to get. Especially hard. I understand it's because all servers share name database, so there is only ONE of a name across EU region for example.

Can anyone confirm? am super gutted because due to the rubbish planning and steam problems I was one of the last to get in....

Maybe pick a less generic name like *not "Fire Wizard".

Yeah, had same problem. I use a few distinct names and a couple of them were taken. I was like "Seriously?" lol. Mind you this is just within an hour lmfao.

Fire Wizard wouldn't even be possible, it would look like Firewizard cause of the strict restrictions in Char Names.

Feels bad.

- Downloaded the game last night
- Restarted Steam at exactly 12pm Eastern the next day
- Finished unpacking the game at 12:09pm
- Got to the character screen by 12:11pm
- Got 3 very good names that I wanted
- tried to get two more but they were immediately taken
