Are esther weapons the best weapons in the game? As far as I know it seems like they start really weak, but can be the strongest weapons in the game?

They are rewards from clearing Abreshuld or whatever that raid is called. Then you are free to spend some real life dollars (like you know, tens thousands of them) to evolve them at which point they become the best weapons in the game.
