Lost Ark RU went from 3 to 2 servers, the game is not being able to retain well over there, or grow unlike KR's version. I went from being gucci to find parties to struggle to do content when my group is not online so it kinda got meh to keep playing, beyond queues the party finder and auction house did reflect that decay.

It's knownly quite more agressively monetized than KR is and that is often blamed for its decay (with their dirty move on players with 2.0 cash shop, demoting players gear much, gold nerf, over what they had already done cutting the daily farm rewards/etc). Now if you just like Lost Ark and want to play it now, it works perfectly and I would recommend doing just that to ready up for NA/EU.

How are the japanese servers if you know any details ? all i know is they are behind updates but outside of that ?

Wouldn't know JP is beyond my ping range. But yeah that they got behind on updates. For EU/NA people RU is the one to play to get to know the game, just not playing it seriously yet

Yup. That's what i did a while back. Cba to wait for it here. For all i know it might land in december 2022. Because there are many bugs to squash.:)
Didn't have problems with matchmaking, but i didn't made any premades of course because of language barrier:). Game runs like a charm tho. No bugs there either, so dno what was "lost in translation"..

im using exitlag vpn (you need to pay to use it, monthly sub but its worth every euro) and laotranslation for english text. not perfect but skills and quests are mostly translated to english from russian. my ping with exitlag is 50-60, im from Croatia in Europe and vpn is making the game believe im from Moscow. I remember when i was playing dayz and arma, russian servers were all 200+ ping for me. having 60 with vpn is just awesome. ingame, i have no lag and no issues of any kind regarding connection. exit lag has 3 days free trial, try it out

-bad ping
-have to use VPN and free ones are like VERY RISKY
-have to selftupdate english-patch (its not my mother language, is not like a problem but if i can choose, i preffer my language with voices than english with russian voices)

There are plenty of reassons to not go to RU servers as EU/NA players.

Also i dont care anymore for the beta, i ll just wait to the release and not put a penny in there.

Lets see at this rate even if the game really comes to NA/EU or amazon cancel everything.

We all know about the status of "bugs" in Lost Ark. They could say "we are calculating lack of infracestructure so we delay it for some months". It would be way harder to check, dont blame on smilegate, and not lying in the face of your CUSTOMERS, because many did bought the founderpacks.

Me included, but not anymore, i get my 49,99€ back.

You can play RU until EU/NA release. Im testing classes on RU bc 5 day beta is nothing for testing.

- Pay for a vpn
- Use a un official translate pack, which can take some time to be up to date
- Play with russian or korean voices, so can't understand anything
- Russian community, aka worst community in the world
- Playing another version of what we will have in EU
- Restart everything when it will be out in EU

Guess you have your answer.

If you watched my video you dont need to pay for the vpn ;) And ofc you have to restart if EU release but the goal is not to main on RU server. Goal is to get a feel of the game and classes... you just had to read... :c
