Founder Pack and Region Inquiry [SEA]

I would like to ask if it's possible for me to buy the Founder Pack directly on Steam? I tried to open the link for Steam's Founder Pack but it says it is not available in my region. I am current residing at the Philippines. However, I tried to use Nord VPN to change my IP to UK and Canada but it still says its not available.

2nd Question: Would the Lost Ark NA be the same as New World in a sense where the SEA players can access the game without VPN? Thank you for those who would help me. Good day to you all.

The game is only available for select areas in NA / EU.

Do not make purchases when your VPN is active. This is against steams ToS and can be reasonable grounds for steam account termination.

The only way to obtain the game is to have an account which has its region set to one of the available zones EG: NA / EU. You must also have a payment method of those regions to make purchases for that account and a billing address of that region.

Without this, you will not be able to access the game.

AGS has no new statements for regions outside NA / EU
NL / BE are still awaiting the verdict as discussions with ESRB / PEGI are underway to see what elements must be changed to allow the launch of this game in those 2 areas.

SEA, AUS, NZ, Estonia, South Africa, ME, LATAM and many more are still pending a decision -It has been brought to the attention of Smilegate. According to recent posts, discussions are underway however, AGS will not divulge the stage these discussions are in.

We have been assured that once a verdict is made we will be notified. One way or another.

I believe Amazons direct website is also the same, you need a billing account and payment method from those regions in order to make the purchase.

If i remember correctly, you will end up getting a steam code, however if your Steam accounts region is not part of the included regions the code will fail when attempting to redeem it.

We're somewhat out of luck :/

You've gotta remember this isn't the same situation as New World... that's entirely owned by Amazon and they can with as they like, so even if they've decided it's not profitable to have Oceanic servers there's no reason for them to stop those folks from trying to play in different regions. However, with Lost Ark then Amazon only acquired the rights from Smilegate to publish the game in specific regions, so probably will have to have some kind of IP block.

Uhm so I'm stuck here. So how do we actually get the Founder Packs if our Region is not included in the list and we are not allowed to use VPN to make purchases as well? Sorry I really like the game and I would like to buy the Founder Pack for the Beta Access and 3 Days headstart.

Many people will be waiting for Smilegate to allow another publisher to obtain the rights to the missing regions. However at this point I don't think we've got much hope.

Usually the SEA area is managed by Garena or Cherry credits but no news from them at all. As for OCE we have nobody here who publishes games so we are absolutely out of luck.

The only way to play on the steam version likely is to go to an included region for work or a holiday and purchase the game when you're there to take home.

It sucks waiting but we've got no other choice tbh :/

At this point, what Roxx confirmed is that there are negotiations between AGS and SmileGate about publishing rights for more zones than those initially announced.

As they wouldn't be negotiating the publishing rights of what they already have the license with, it's to assume that if those negotiations end up in good port, the coverage will be expanded. The obvious adds are the 2 EU countries that is another topic that they confirmed on doing changes to the game with SG to meet local regulations.

So I can only think of South America and Australia as the most desirable expansion that may be announced by AGS, they already have NW infastructure South America & AUS.
