engine error message - won't open game

I get the message D3D11 compatible GPU (feature level 11.0, shader model 5.0 is required to run engine) I did not get this message prior to downloading mediviel trader simulator today. I have been playing the other DNA games with problems until today. Can you tell me what this is and how to fix it? I have all ready run the files integrity and they are ok.
