How does weapons fusion work

I have now figured it out myself first bring the weapon to lvl 10,20,30 etc. then you also get the fusion button

in short-

1 star weapon needs a single other 1star to fuse,
2 star weapon needs 2 other 2 stars to fuse,
3s needs 3 others, and so on

it's go by fill up your inventory with every weapon star you find and start recycle some of the 1 star when it's nearly full

yes but 1 star weapon up to lvl10 before fusion with any 1 star weapon
2 stars weapon up lvl 20 before fusion with any 2 stars weapon
3 stars weapon up lvl 30 before fusion with any 3 stars weapon
etc
