Great work on the patch! I have less lag now in end-game. i noticed that sometimes when I move cargo from/to ship and storage (with maximum warehouse upgrade and a lot of slots in fleet) the game lags on transfer. I don't know whether it is simply because the scripts loops and executes everything on item/stack transfer, or whether it is simply Unity having an 'United Tourette' type event.

In any case please do enjoy the holidays, and happy new year!

Game def. runs better but far away from butter smooth. Still a nice improvements and I might continue my savegame.
Ok forget it, my midgame fights against good and big enemies are still 15-20 fps. Endless journeys from town to town are not what I want right now. Done with the game.

Hi, thanks for trying out the update regardless. We've just offloaded the GPU performance. The battle lag is on the script as mentioned in the post content. We will be looking out for ways to improve it.

Hi, we've made some progress now that we know where the goods transfer lag came from. We might be able to fix it sometime later.

NEAT! TY! Are you guys planning more for the game? I get tired of the dialouge slog and would certainly appreciate a more sandbox or rouge-lite approach overall. I dont mean to offend, but i just dont really like the story.

Hi, thank you very much for your experience and the spec. This patch solved the GPU issue though we are still a bit far from CPU problems that cause performance issues in combat. We are working on it though, for the time being to improve your experience in combat you can opt for bigger guns that generate less bullets instead of many smaller guns.

Thanks for the reply. We have improvements planned for the game, though they wont involve changing the main gameplay. A sandbox experience where everything is unlocked from the start might be something we could do.

We learned a lot from Kingdoms Adrift and while most of our efforts are now on the new project, we'll be gradually be keeping up with the updates.
