Rodrigo not leveling?

Am I the only one with Rodrigo (your first gunner) stuck in lvl 1 ?
The XP are still counting, but he is 16/5 by now and not switching to lvl 2.
I did not do his final quest when he was lvl 1, maybe this is the reason?

I "think" you have to do his quests for him to jump levels, but honestly I'm not sure. I've noticed this as well but just ignored it. >_<

Same here, he is lvl 1 with 14/5 exp. Haven't finished his quest line either.

Promoting your officer requires certain items. In Rodrigo's case, to go from level 1 to level 2 you need 20 units of beer.

which you can get from killing pirates, I have yet to find anywhere that sells beer sadly

You can see their needs when they get enough exp to reach their next level. I don't think the game is popular enough yet (if ever) to really produce any guides or wiki entries worth anything.

Each officer has a career page where it shows what they need. Beer is sold in many towns but usually only 2pcs per 24h. He then needs 20 bullets for Level 3

The game has been out for such a short amount of time, that I don't think a guide listing this has been produced.

Ok so bullets are locked behind a story quest. You can level to 3+ after you have your own company.

I found beer on sale at Laventum Lake Town

You can see what he needs before he get to the level, buy beer at all the stops that have it, you should have enough by the time he's ready to go up, plus he doesn't lose any steps even if you don't in first game I had him at 6/5 level 1

silberblum sells a lot of beer, might be a bit random from place to place, but the first few towns you go during the starting quests sell beer, at least 40 each town. to get him from lv 2 to 3 requires 20 rifle cartridges
