Slow-Motion in Multi-Player?

I know Multi-Player, especially online, will be a lot of work and shouldn't be rushed, if it's possible. But I've been wondering, how would slow-motion work when there is more than one player active?

Don't get me wrong, slow mo is an awesome idea, but I'm just curious here...

i think when other player see you slowmotion he is in the air slowly when other players are playing normally or the slow motion would affect you and other players if you are close of that player

I think I asked this a while back. If I recall, he said it’s gonna be a sort of area of effect thing… basically within range, stuff is slow. Don’t quote me on that.

Side note, if he ever adds PvP, I hope we have the option to add slow motion for smaller, local games. I know it wouldn’t be practical but it would look pretty cool.

Yeah, my plan is to make slow motion within a radius, like grenade damage. So when KB does slow motion, any beans nearby will also go into slow motion. Outside of the radius will be normal speed. And if a sniper shoots a bullet into the radius, the bullet slows down too. I haven't tested this yet. It's just an idea.

I think that'll be implemented in first, and then Jeff Lew will try to play around with online co-op.

How does Max Payne 3 do it in multiplayer? I haven't tried multiplayer yet.

I just looked it up. It says they use line of sight for bullet time. I'll have to play it later when I work on the online mode, just to get a feel of how it works.
