Warning to anyone thinking of buying the franchise package from the Christmas sale.

I'm running Windows 10, if that matters to you. Anyway, I just purchased the entire franchise of 8 games. Four of the games won't open. I tried many things, but it seems previous threads on each of the forums are correct that only a 3rd party fix is available to get the games to open. Some people have trouble with more than 4 of the games.

Anyway, the package deal ended up not being a deal at all. I could have purchased the 4 working games separately at the regular sale price for the same amount as what I paid for the bundle. The HD versions of the non-working games DO work. So, if I purchase all of those with the regular sale price, I will have paid $20 total for all 8 games. The Christmas sale price for all 8 (non-HD) is $10. I'm on a very tight budget so this comes across as kind of a dirty trick to play on Steam players.

The non-working games are:

Luxor 1, Luxor 2, Luxor: 5th Passage, Luxor: Amun Rising

I can't find an HD version for one of the above (5th Passage?).

The Luxor games are the best rendition of match 3 gaming that I've ever come across, and they bring a lot of nostalgia to me from years ago, so I was very exited to find them in such a good sale package, only to be equally disappointed when so many of them wouldn't launch.
