It has a lot of charm with the music and cinematography, but it controls poorly. The zoom is a bit much as well, your character can barely see a few feet in front of themselves. I'm not sure if the game has a map, you don't begin with one.

On the controls: Double tapping forward to dash is an entirely antiquated control scheme. It makes it horrible trying to do anything because you will frequently charge out in a direction when all you wanted to do was edge forward a little bit like in every other game that lets you do that..

The game handles badly in other ways too, such as being stuck into facing one direction whenever you equip the flashlight and it takes multiple button presses to unequip the thing.

I got stuck pretty early on with no clear indication of what I could even do to advance things, and rather than look for a solution online i knew i'd just be a lot happier uninstalling.

Imagine paying 10 dollars for a gameboy color game in 2021. Like, wow.... No. Absolutely not recommended, except maybe on a 75% sale.

Edit: Some people have mentioned this game being inspired by gameboy color games. No, it isn't inspired by them, it just straight up is a gameboy color game with all of the faults of games at the time.

This was weird and fun for a few hours then I hit a brick wall in the form of a multi-screen disappearing block challenge that requires backtracking across a dozen screens every time I fail. That's just rude!
