I lost my moonflower

I started this game quite a while ago and then set it aside until I got a controller because I found I much prefer gaming with a controller. I've been happily progressing and enjoying the game, but now I need to make moon oil to solve one of the puzzles, and I have no idea where the second one went. Maybe I accidentally discarded it at some point, thinking I wouldn't need it again? Either way, I'm totally stuck. There's no way to get another one, is there? I've invested over 30 hours and it would 100% suck if I have to start over.

Hiya! As far as I know, a couple of people have had this issue before. Make sure of a couple of things first:
1: Double and triple-check inventory and storage. Sometimes stuff hides in the corner of your inventory.

2: You don't need to craft another sunlight potion.

There's a point in the game where you are supposed to craft a knockoff sunlight potion to collect another moonflower from the tree.

If you have already used the moonflower for 2 potions, you are at this point.

If neither of those things are true.. The only LEGITIMATE way to get your moonflower back is to restart the game.. However, there is a Cheat Engine inventory editior that you could use (looked it up to see if this was an option for you lol) to add one back to one of your inventory slots. I would make a backup of your game before doing this just to be safe, but if that's your only option, it would save you having to restart your 30h of gameplay.
