Extractor not working

Not sure what’s going on - I have completed the available parts of the game at the time around two years ago. Checked in on the latest update and while I have the ingredients to use in the extractor no option is available. I’ve already made the healing candy for rubrum and now I’m working on clearing the vines for the houses and crafting the intellect potion. It’s been a little while since I’ve played (around three weeks) and I’m kinda tired so apologies if I’m not making much sense. I really enjoy the game and I’m so excited about all the updates. I don’t mind restarting the save if I have to. Thank you for any advice you have for me.

I think so - iirc Aurea gives Ellie the bottle as a reward for lifting the curse that makes her praise nature as well as the healing candy recipe. It’s been a little while so I may be wrong but I think I’ve done that part of the game in this save file.

you should have access to autosaves, see what happens in them

Yeah I’m playing fresh - I’ll revert back to an earlier autosave and take some screenshots. Thank you.

I tested this again and on reloading the save file it worked where it hadn’t before. The problem initially was that pressing the A button which usually opens the ingredients list with an option to extract was not displayed. However on relaunching the game and reloading the save file it did work. I loaded an older save first and when it worked I tried the most recent save and that worked too.
