Puzzle at Cloud Vally Upstream

Can anyone give advice on how to solve the puzzle in the 2nd room at the Cloud Vally Upstream for the "Find the second prickly vine core" Quest? I have been stuck on this for days and can't seem to figure out how to solve it.

You need to make the water go down both the wheels.
For that you need the water to go down the path from the upper sink.
Go home and think on that. Remember to snuggle some hamsters on the way back, they are tricky to catch.

I also have a problem with that quest. I already made the water flow on the left side, but i can't figure out how to make the right side flow.

Hi, you need to use two potions - The thunder rain something potion and diet potion. Hope this helps.

I thought it was a bug, cause it looked like it should work without a potion.
