Nah from what i can gather skull and bones are mmorpg i dont have any friends i play with on Ubisoft so im more singleplayer type of guy. From what i could see Singleplayer and navy battle in skull and bones look weak with no land based action so thats why i asked about this game. I was hoping to get better answers i guess other than "go play the mmorpg". I figure Black flag is better than Skull and bones gameplay wise. It just looks like i can do more in this game than skull and bones anyway. Just wanted som insight either way.
no its no where near the best black flag still holds that title but its fun if your a fan of fantasy games but honestly if they stuck with there original concept of the game and produced what they said hey were going to it would have easily been the best pirate game released
I'm a fan of Black Flag but Skull and Bones is a pirate game in the pure Ubisoft style. If you want battle and boarding games, look for anything Dogs are a great alternative. They wanted to base the battles solely on naval battles, which I don't see as bad either. It is recommended to delve a little deeper into the game, you will discover some incredible things, greetings, friend.
This one looks good too, i havent tried it tho

Be careful. Caribbean Legend is a remaster of Sea Dogs: To Each His Own. The textures are sharper, some improvements were made to the story. It is basically a 2012 game.
I'm not saying it's bad - it's awesome! I replayed it a year and a half ago. But you have to suffer in it and try to love it to make it the best simulator of pirate life.
Thank you for the heads up.
My favorite Pirate game is Pirates of the Caribbean (2003 from Bethedsda)
I think thats Sea Dogs 2 (im not 100% sure).
I really wish for a good remake of that game, i guess that is why Caribbean Legend is appealing to me.
Yes, you're right. "Pirates of the Caribbean" is really a technical sequel to the Sea Dogs game from Akella, where 1C (Russia) and Bethesda (EU) were the publisher. Sea Dogs 2 was technically ready and together with Bethesda approached Disney with a proposal to incorporate the Pirates of the Caribbean movie lore into the game. The proposal was accepted, except that it could not use characters from the franchise, only the universe. The Pirates of the Caribbean game is said to have models of Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and others in the files.
And now pay attention - Caribbean Legends is a REMASTER of the fan addon to the game Sea Dogs 3 on the old engine (Storm engine). Sea dogs 3 from Akella came out horribly buggy and crooked. It was later improved and improved by fans. Everything grew to the point that the addon (City of Lost Ships) became very popular that this addon became the base on which the addons came out. All this ended with Corsairs 3: To Each His Own. And now on it already BlackMark (the current developer who made the addon) made a remaster. The addon itself came out controversial and illogical, but still - pulls in its romance and the desire to beat the game!))))))
If you are not intimidated by the old graphics and love this pirate theme, then definitely give it a try:
Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons (addon 2 part)
Sea Dogs: City of Abandoned Ships (it's based on the 3rd part)
They are discounted in steam just in time. There is also "Sea Dogs" (this is already 1 part)
That's how we are Russians!))))))) And we give strange names to projects, which are very confusing.
Thank you for taking the time to write all that (here take some points) .
I never knew that "story" but its always nice to know some background to the favorite games.
Skull and Bones is the best Pirate game out there?
Did you try Black Flag, Sea of Thieves, Sea Dogs, Pirates, King of Seas, Age of Pirates, Age of Sail and many others are far better as "my boat has an stamina bar Skull & Bones"
I feel such a big letdown with Skulls and Bones
