HONEST REVIEW- LOTS OF POTENTIAL ;-)
Though not a fan of cartoon style story telling, I was impressed with how the main character narrates the adventure and I appreciate the artwork. The music selection is SPOT ON. Well done! You are very talented and the base game at its core is already far ahead in potential as a multiplayer/MMO style sandbox open world. The water/sea is amazing and the sea creatures add a nice touch. I envision this as a cross between Sea of Theives and Pirates of the Burning Sea. Ship AND Avatar combat together are critical. That's where Black Flag and Naval Combat lack the avatar/land combat. There is a HUGE demand for a sailing game that is period and historically accurate, but still fun to play. Give players options to PvP, or have safe zones to pass through and work on economy as traders/merchants.

I would love to help in any way I can, including marketing/social media. I have sailed on a 2 mast Brigantine ship called the Brig Niagara for almost 4 months on the great lakes, so I can relate to how living/working on these vessels is really like.

Suggestions: Add multiplayer, avatar customization, game driven economy, ports to dock in. Humans are social creatures so we need ability to interact with each other. The option of having AI crew or having live players substitute for crew positions like Sea of Thieves would be great.

Hang in there. Yes, it is a financial risk, but if the game can evolve into a Caribbean Pirate version of Red Dead Redemption II, it would attract ALL kinds of players from lesser sailing games. I still play Pirates of the Burning sea because its the only game with BOTH land and sea combat, and an open sandbox world with more realism than Sea of Theives. Unfortunately PoBS graphics are outdated and players are dwindling.

Please update release date to 2024 at least so people don't think the project is abandoned. Thank you.
