THIS MOD IS NOT MINE!

If it hadn't been for someone else posting it on another forum, i wouldn't even have known it existed. But it seems to do a great job of being an actual cheat mod.

In description say the file folder should look like this: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Captain of Industry\Mods\CaptainOfCheats\CaptainOfCheats.dll

But where is the DLL file. I don't see it in the zip file at all.

I have unpacked the zip file in to mods folder

I just downloaded the CaptainOfCheats 1.4.0 again to be sure, i'm seeing both CaptainOfCheats .dll, .pdb and AssetBundles folder just fine. Try downloading it again?

It says "Download the mod zip file from the GitHub Release that cooresponds to your Captain Of Industry game version. If a release does not exist for your game version, using an another version may fail to load properly."

I see nothing on that page that distinguishes what version thi sis for. It's a project folder.
Where is the compiled dll?
The only zip file is the the one in the green 'code' button on the top right. Nothing saying anything about what version of the game it's for.

What does it matter to you if someone else "cheats" in a single player game?

How do I get this to work? I've downloaded the correct one for my version, I've put it in the folder, I've restarted my game and started a new level but F8 does nothing for me and I can't find any more information about this or a tutorial. Any help would be appreciated!

Did you enable mods in the menu?

I have tried downloading the 2 latest versions, mods are turned on in settings in game, but nothing happens for me either.

Most likely imcompatible versions then. Cross check what version your game is to what version is currently on steam and the mod v1.5.0 only being compatible to v0.4.4 of the game

It appears to still be functioning in v0.4.5 of the game.

do be a paranoid i just want to check how the game can be better or worst without research and how speedrunner can play it since im a bit slow
