Suggested default key binding
Recommend the following to make default controls more "standard":

* Q/E Rotate
* Alt-Q/E Raise Lower (since it's used less often.)
* Reverse Zoom In/Out so zoom in is on the right ] key vs the left [ key. (same with / *)
* F1 Tutorials (vs F2)
* Tab = Recipes
* M = World Map
* R = Research (and rotate based on context or can make Q/E rotate building when in that context, though R is much more standard.)
* X = Deconstruct (I know this is cut currently. I haven't quite figured out the use for cut yet.)

All the others are pretty standard and good!

And yes, I understand you can rebind. I'm only suggesting these as they might make things more intuitive for new players.

The default key bindings are perfect for me.

I use the mouse for rotate and zoom. I use Q for Clone (pipette). I think I used this in another game as well.

I use Page Up/Page Down to raise and lower the transports.

F1 Tutorial - Agreed

I use the mouse to select the screen icon for Recipes.

M for World Map - Edit: I am now using M for Mining and D for Dumping.
(I don't use WASD, I use the arrow keys when not using the mouse to move.)
I might use W for World Map as well, but I usually use the screen Icon for this.

R for Rotate (build mode) and CTRL + R for Research - I think it is best never to base anything on context.

Cut is used to let you move a ghost of an item to another location. (I use X)
The Tutorial explains this.

"making things Intuitive" is subjective. I think many will have widely different opinions about this.

Raise and lower is perfect where it is. The last time I used keys to rotate a camera was maybe Dungeon Keeper, that feature belongs on the mouse. The tutorial having a hotkey is silly in the first place, putting that on F1 instead of the recipe list that gets used all the time would be ... like I can't even express how nonsensical that would be.

OP has just 5.2 hours in the game, not over 300 like me. If he has build his first refinery
he thinks surely other about q/e.
