How does hunger and priority work?
I was pretty far into a game by my standards and my whole settlement started dying off due to hunger. I had 5.9k potatoes in my "inventory" pane. I also had a conveyor going right into the food market, but when I clicked on the food market it said 0 potatoes. I had 25 loose storage units full of potatoes and my whole settlement kept dying. I love this game but maybe I am not understanding how the hunger mechanic works. The settlement sector that I was using the conveyor to feed read 0 potatoes so I don't think each settlement sector needs a food market. Has anyone experienced this issue?

On a completely unrelated note I was trying to get my trucks to transport goods to help build conveyors and they would disregard the priority icon. Is there something I am missing in that regard?

u wanted to make my mining truck drop in a nearby loose and all unasignated truck to fill the needed far industry but as soon i asigned a highter priority or a full at the industry loose the truck not more droped in the mining area loose for going to the far away loose so i had only the solution to assin a bunch of truck to the critical mine
also had the crusher not outputing in the loose because truck output disabled probably a bug not detected because i dont unlocked conveyor and directly connected the loose to the crusher
