Plant them and harvest them... If you've swapped over to trade and just don't want to do tree farming anymore, you can delete the box, unity the box empty, which will eventually stuff them into the shipyard.

You can perma-delete just about anything from the shipyard.

Note, there are exceptions... saplings aren't one of them.

You can, like all ressources, put them in a storage, delete the storage, quick remove the ressources contained in the storage (not the buildings materials), they go into the shipyard, and in the shipyard you can get rid of them permanently.

There's an open "bug" for this, canola, sugar cane and flowers in MaFi's backlog.

Ah ok , ty , this was the answer I was looking for , so basically if you don't want that many be careful farming them for now, thanks.

I don't understand this statement.

You can just delete saplings from the shipyard, no issues:

what's not to understand?...I planted to many and was trying to dispose of them in a way that gave me something in return..you know like tossing them through the shredder for burnable mulch or something, I thought I missed a way to do it in one of the buildings..no need to get you're f'n panties and everyone else- in a twist over a simple question. this dude actually gave a pretty good answer which made me feel not so stupid , like I had over looked something. ALLTHOUGH I wouldn't consider it a bug as much as an oversight on the devs part to be able to dispose of them ...again , simple f'n question and ya'll act like I'm out here molesting the family pet...buncha clowns.

Not sure if it's possible, but it'd be nice to compost the saplings.

Yeesh. Dude, slow your roll. My confusion was about calling disposing some of these things a bug by Peter. Flowers, for example, I believe ARE buggy, I don't believe you can shipyard delete them (I don't have the right edition to confirm). Please note I quoted HIM, not you... cripes.

There's some things you can't delete from the shipyard on purpose, many of the waste products, for example. This just isn't one of those things. You didn't mention you were looking for something in return at first, just that you were trying to dispose of them.

And as for the family pet, leave my poor pygmy kangaroo alone... I do enough to it without anyone else helping.

Fair point. Perhaps issue would be a better term than bug. No confusion intended, just imparted.

The idea being there could be an automated way of disposing of all farming outputs. I do currently use the shipyard delete route. I'd prefer a burner, compost, animal feed recipe for all farmable items.

Turn off the "storage full" warning for the farm with saplings, avoid growing vegetables and also have the other slots set up for two other crops so that it looks like "potato/sapling/potato/wheat" which lowers the amount of saplings you're making to something like 1/60s
