also dev here find it funny how 20 years means he has written every line and knows every convention at its bleeding edge? not possible and even if true everyone should know software can be """uniquely""" written and even 100 years of software exp would not prepare for some implementations. that isn't this case here and object oriented and agile can account for shifts in scope.
It makes some sense to extrapolate from that to there being more than one avatar, each controlled by a different player.
What? You don't have time or the required experience? Well... then get back in line like the rest of us. They are not going to scrap their current plans just because you want multiplayer right now.
I find this game to be extremely rewarding as is, amazingly bug free, and doesn't require a high dollar system to have good graphics and maintain a respectable FPS rate. To this player, while amazingly complex and challenging, it runs smooth, trouble-free, and was/is relatively simple to learn, navigate, and control.
In other words, no drama.
Start messing around with the fundamentals and the drama begins.
If I want drama in a factory game whether it be for multiplayer, to go shoot something, need to laugh out loud, want build something pretty, or like to wowed by spectacular graphic artistry, Satisfactory fills all those desires just fine.
Just like, I don't wanna see everyone having aneurysms if they ever do announce it.
