Dosen't help to create a new one, as the crapy one seams to be first in line, so the new on won't be designated. Only thing to do in this situation is to create a new game.
If this problem persists please consider filing an issue and include a save file so we can take a look on what is happening: https://github.com/MaFi-Games/Captain-of-Industry-issues
Thanks!
Had this happen also. For me, was a matter of not setting it up right. May not be your issue, but just in case it helps someone.
1) When building a ramp, sometimes a truck will get stuck. It looks idle, but click on it and use a tiny amount of unity to reset it.
2) Make sure your Dump Sites allow the correct material to be dumped. For example, before I have Cement fully up, I often have to allow dumping of sand. Don't forget to remove that allowance for Sand if you later set up a dedicated Sand Mine....
3) For Excess Slag, allow the Dump site to receive Slag, but bump up the Crusher priority high to ensure it stays full.
New player, so this not a complete list. I plan on making more mistakes and learning from them tonight :)
This is the correct way to do things you will need to make sure that you either setup a dedicated truck or two for the route that you setup between the locations or remove the dedicated route in some cases to allow non assigned trucks to use the storage you need them to access, not everything needs a dedicated route setup.
As long as you set the storage to P1 for removal and the general location where you need the item to go from it to keep full maxed out also on P1 they will sort it out as long as there is room in storage where you need it to go to, P2 can be set for places that you need it once the main location is full else keep it to P1 as well and they will take it there as well.
Don't be afraid to keep multiple save points and reload each time you experiment with a setup, even at times to reload the save point from the very start every few runs as you improve your layouts and learn where your bottlenecks are closer to late game.
I have a similar problem, i tryed everything but still truck are listet as idle but theres a lot to do.
most of stuff just dont get build,
i know this problam from the game "industries of titan" where the workers just get idle and dont do anything, it was a game breaking bug for along time that happens every time u play longer as a sertain time.
i guess here is a similar problem that the trucks get in an "false" idle mode bc they are (game mechanc side" overloaded and cant make a sollution so they get in an idle mode.
i just dont know how to solve it rn. i hope it gets patched or we find a way to manual solve it.
OK well i solved it, it was completly my fault... Or not ?!
There is a UI problem, in ure "inventory" are maerials shown that u dont have, its a clear bug that it shows a number that is 0 but is shown as 240 and u wonder why tf nothing happens...
u need to click the graph to see how many mats u really have
Do you have a dumping zone that isn't already full?
I have the same problem - a frozen excavator. It can neither be scrapped nor moved
Please create a new thread for this as this one is unrelated and outdated
