lol, I don't care, and cheat all the time in single player games to play semi-sandbox. Just saying it before all the people come in who are against not playing *their* way.
The tilde key (~ , next to the 1 on a US keyboard) opens a console and says type 'help' to list all commands, but there's no cheat commands listed. Haven't tried to see if there are any unlisted commands that can be used for cheating.
It is enough to have unlimited UNITYs.
(Caution. Do not exceed the maximum possible amount]
A wonderful game. Even with CHEATS there is no loss of fun
Want to test the game then play the game the way it is meant to be played and have fun doing it.
And successes, achievements ? We have them in LIFE ;)
GOOD GAMES (like this) have no loss of entertainment.
Cheating in shooters and the like is bad. And indeed weakness
How many of you exists? Why do you keep telling us how to play games?
What gives you the privilege to tell us what si right and what is wrong?
Look... I love challenge in games. I don't use cheats like unlimited resources. But sometimes game throws at you something, which you can't handle or don't know how to handle. Not all developers in the world make games at the same difficulty. One time happened to me, that I was building thriving colony, when suddenly I was out of some major resources and I couldn't get them, because I fu**ed up production chain. Well... I had to give my self (cheat it) some res. to continue playing...
Yea, someone could say: "Start new game and try to be smarter next time." - but I don't want to, because... It's me playing, not they... I already build and decorated my city... my factory... my paradise... I don't want to build it again just because some stupid mistake...
Well the OP's fun might involve being able to cheat.
Money definitely isnt wasted lmao. A single player game can be enjoyed however the buyer see's fit.
We'll all sleep good tonight no matter how the other plays.
I want a job, orders, clients ? I call friends, acquaintances.
Construction, politics, media.. CHEATERS everywhere !
If discovered, it means corruption, bribery, manipulation...
"Cheating" is just the word we give (incorrectly) to the method of customising a game to the players' liking (not entirely unlike modding). In this instance, since it is strictly a single-player game, he is not actually cheating (and NO, he is not cheating himself since that is generally a subconscious event). If it were a multiplayer game, and he cheated, then yes it is widely accepted as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ behaviour.
Games like these are designed to provide a wide array of choice/play styles and in return they provide a wide array of satisfaction to a wide array of players, across a wide array of platforms, in this world we live in (with a wide array of countries and cultures);
The game also contains a console, and we all know what that means! Perhaps there are custom commands just waiting to be discovered since the console IS AVAILABLE IN THE EARLY ACCESS BUILD (normally this is locked away by default for a reason).
So, no matter what the reason is for wanting to cheat/modify the game, as long as it is only intended for single player, there is literally no harm, and quite literally no room for anyone to judge that person.
TL;DR: Get over yourself; live and let live; mod and let mod; <insert some Shakespeare for good measure>. You get the point.
