use the chemical processes and oils more.
wood -> coal -> graphite (to kickstart AF t2)
exhaust -> CO2 -> graphite (= fuel for AF t2)
Use a balancer for resupply and give exhaust chain the prio.
Well, you could have given more info about your turbine issue in the other post you already made, but apparently you dont like to post in that thread...
It will at least halve you coal usage.
And in late game graphite reliant industry will reduce your coal usage to very small values.
Small enough to keep up with coal needs from basic wood burning.
Meanwhile limit your consumption. Make things smaller/slower. It will help.
