food market doesn't accept vegetables

Check that the right belt is connected and that you have "Vegatables" selected in the food market.

How do I select the vegetables? Maybe it's actually user error.

When you select the Food Market there should be either a "+" icon to select a new food type to store or a previously selected food (initial food market starts with potatoes)

Tier 1 Food Markets can only store one food type at a time, you will need a second one if you plan on having more than 1 food type. Tier 2 Food Markets can have 2 types of a food

Thank you, I fixed it now. I had to click on the potatoes and then select the veggies. So now I have 1 market for potatoes and 1 for veggies. I didn't know the potatoes where clickable like that.

whaaaaaaaat is this why they dont eat their veggies?

I have food shortage but tons of veggies, and connected to food market witth one belt potatoes, and one veggies but that then does nothing.
Any chance for a future change, or do we need two separate markets for this? tier 2 seems a bit excessive :)

You need a separate market at first. The T2 market that takes two kinds of food isn't that far into the research tree.

@dev I don’t see anywhere in the game where it says Tier 1 food markets can only store one food at a time; this is not intuitive as it has two ports to accept u-shape or flat conveyors. Can you add some text to the Tier 1 food market that explains this limitation?
