Oil rigs won't pump oil
Despite having thousands of barrels of oil in the ground I have placed 3-4 oil rigs on a site and they refuse to pump. They will pump for a little when first placed then stop. They are hooked to the processor but no diesel is going into the storage tank and all my vehicles are running out of fuel.

Why would the oil rigs stop when there is plenty of oil left in the ground?

Post a screenshot of the building's UI, it shows the status of the building and what issues prevent it from operating.

Screenshot please, yes. Show us the setup and the open window of one of the stopped pumps?

Screenshot yes.

But likely issue could be that you have no recipe set in refinement or it is wrong recipe. Or you are not getting other goods required by recipe to your refinery.

Or the Refinery can't get rid of one of the waste products, the Exhaust gas or the Wastewater.

Might be my eyes, but it looks like you've got the waste water pipe connected to the diesel pipe just before it reaches the storage - there's a 4-way pipe join? If so, your blockage is there - either the pipe going to the diesel storage has waste water in, or the pipe going to the liquid dump has diesel in. You'll need to separate the pipes from each other, and make sure the new pipes have the right fluid.
Different liquids can't share pipes.

As above poster pointed out, you connected both of your output pipes together, fix it.

The last picture shows Diesel is backed up. So yeah. That four way pipe juncture is the problem.

You definitely need to ensure pipes aren't being shared for different things.
Oil pipe should only carry oil.
Diesel pipe should only carry diesel.
Waste water pipe should only carry waste water.

Make sure the liquid dump is also selecting waste.

And what applies to pipes applies with few exceptions to belts too.

Nothing messes up things like unwanted/excessive goods blockage.

Thanks for the help guys..I had to basically tear it all down and rebuild minus the oil derricks. Even after I fixed the pipes I ended up having to delete most of the outlying pipe because it still had a mix in it.

I'm back to pumping oil I hope...they have stopped a couple times but I think the desitination was full.

Usually it's three derricks to a destillation unit, I noticed you had four. So that might be the case, yes.

OK follow up on this I have attached screen shots. I have 3 oil rigs instead of 4 now and cleared up the pipes. I have a pipe running to the sea from the refinery and i also have a pipe from the rubber maker joining it with the same waste. the crude pipe is running to two liquid storage containers neither of which are full. I also have the three oil rigs joining into one pipe to go to the refinery. They are stopped again and not sure why this time, I did notice that the waste pipe going into the ocean indicates its not running anything through but only the same waste is connected to it.
