How many rods does the nuclear plant I really consume ?
Inside the nuclear power plant I table it is written that the npp I uses 1 rod -> 192 steam every 120 seconds (= 2 generator lines = 36 MW) whereas in the recipe there is written that the npp I consumes 1 rod every 40 seconds (= 6 generator lines = 108 MW).
What consumption rate is the right one ?

I know why you're confused because this threw me off too.

The recipe book shows you the formula/requirements for if the Nuclear Reactor is at 3x (full speed). When you place the Reactor, and it's in blueprint mode, you cannot change the 0x to be 1x/2x/3x (well, you CAN change it, but inside the building, the formula does not update), so it shows only a fraction of what the recipe book shows! It's showing you 1x (even though it's on the 0x setting).

When the Reactor is constructed, you can change the 0x to be 1x/2x/3x to your hearts content, and you'll notice that 3x is the same as the Recipe Book, 2x is 66% and 1x is 33%.

So, my advice, is plan your construction based on the Recipe Book (3x: full speed) and you can gradually increase the speed of your Reactor as you need to (and learn the ins and outs of the system).

You have several recipes because you can run the plant faster. It takes more rods in the same time to produce more steam in that time, too. The T1 nuclear plant can do the same recipe of 1 rod into 192 high pressure steam at either 120s, 60s or 40s.

T2 nuclear plant gives you the same three recipies and adds another at 30s.

So both rates are technically correct, but you can choose between them.
All the rates are correct. That's the seconds it takes to use one fuel rod. Click the box for 60s recipes, makes the math easier for everything. It will show every 60s, level 1 uses 0.5 rod, level 2 uses 1 rod and level 3 uses 1.5 rods.
