Am I disabled? - (How do you make glass?)

Apologies from a noob, but how on earth do you make glass?

Unless I'm being totally blind, possible, I can't find anyway of how to make glass? Does the game tell you somehow?

All I ever wanted was to make lorries... Now I have been forsaken...

Answers would be appreciated! Cheers.

You've saved my operation Albob! For anyone else being a muppet like me, there is a square 'recipe' tab in the lower right hand side of your screen that shows you how to make everything plus more.

The recipe system is supremely useful... But you can also find out by looking through the research tree. Granted, glass is a little further down from the lorries... But still.

You get to research large vehicles, and think "yay, bigger excavators and trucks", then you find that glass production is away down beyond research lab III, there's a whole bunch of stuff you have to do before you can actually make second level vehicles. Seems to me that basic glass production ought to happen easier/sooner, and that further down the line you upgrade to more efficient glass production, as happens with other things.

I do most certainly and entirely agree with you.

You can buy glass for a few construction parts. So you 'can' make large vehicles, but only slowly. I'm usually fine on vehicles, so I either make them slow as I remember to buy more glass, or I ignore them until I can make my own glass.

You need glass long before you can make it. its way up in the tech tree. to upgrade your trucks now you need to import it
